Okay so, Im actually really into drawing planets and I kinda wanted to show how I did them so I made this kind of tutorial thingy? I hope you like it!
So first you make a simple spacey background, you know, blue and stars and whatnot
Make another layer then airbrush a blob, any color you want your planet to be
Add a little shade to the blob and pick a lighter color to make a planet-like effect (I picked a bristled effect brush for this) dont worry about being too precise
Airbrush a dark gray or black in a circle ish shape and then a white highlight (its starting to look like a planet now :p
Get another layer and place a circle shape over the blob you just made, then select the outside bit of the circle and delete that in the planet layer
Add a lil rim light and you should have a planet now!
Add some more stars and details and what have you and there you have it, have fun with your planet ~
